Students from A&M West Texas University at the SUPŠS Kamenický Šenov for the second time.

In late May 2010 a group of students from the West Texas University, USA, headed by Professor Chad Holliday, visited for the second times our school. Chad Holliday studied for 9 months our school in the school year 2007 – 2008 of the basis of the Fullbright scholarship. Here, the American students were training glass cutting, engraving and painting as well as printing from glass plate for several days. During their stay, the young American learned historical and cultural places of interest of our region. They visited e.g. the companies Preciosa, Jílek and Ajeto. In the frame of their stay in the Czech Republic, they followed places of interest of the capital and visited also Kutná Hora. The interest of foreign students in studies at our school is permanent. Numerous of them come from university-level schools, which proves the high international standard of our school.
