1st Place for Monika Pernecká at the international exhibition Watches and Jewels
Our school has again reached an excellent success! A graduate of the engraving department Miss Monika Pernecká won the first prize at the international exhibition Watches and Jewels kept from Oct. 1 - 4, 2008 in the fairground Incheba Expo Prague. Monika Pernecká won the first place by the Association of Jewellers and Watchmakers in the event 2008 Jewel of the Year. This prize is even more important for us as won in competition of specialized jewellery schools. It proves the ability of our school to prepare students for a creative work in a wide range of art activities.
Monika Pernecká won the prize for a collection of melted glass jewels designed and made by herself headed by her teacher Mgr.A Jitka Skuhravá as her final work in 2008. The workshop master-teacher Rudolf Kment. Congratulation!
